Congrats to our $10,000 Home Improvement Winner

Thomas Scott from Chesapeake City, MD!

On December 24, 2014, the first annual winner was announced as Thomas Scott from Chesapeake City, MD. Tommy was nominated by Tracy Shives and January Vaughan. Thomas has served as head custodian at Chesapeake City Elementary School for 32 years as well as served as a fire fighter with the Chesapeake City Fire Department for 35 plus years. Thomas was nominated as being in need of a home improvement and because he was so actively working in the community serving others, he had no time to upkeep his own home. Thomas has been named as one of the top responders of the Fire Department, as well as being a hall of fame inductee to the local Fire Police and Fire Prevention as chairman. He is a Chesapeake City Lions Club member, and a member of the Augustine Perish. In the past, Thomas has coached softball for the Chesapeake City Little League. Thomas always has gone the extra mile by arriving for work early and staying late. He also makes an effort to respond to every local car accident and fire in the community to lend a helping hand. He is a true hero!
